Terpene Reviews

When you go to the local dispensary, sometimes they carry pre-filled vape cartridges. These cartridges are usually filled with a mixture of a solvent and extract, whether it be shatter, crumble, bho, or distillate. The solvent is either a glycol, terpene, or MCT oil base such that the extract can be liquefied and made into a THC e-juice.

This review concentrates on these liquids based off terpenes. The great thing about terpenes is the fact that these already exist in the dried cannabis flower that is widely smoked. In the extraction process going from the dry herb to an extract, a lot of solvents like butane, carbon dioxide, or propane is used to extract the THC to make the extract. Since this process strips out the terpenes and just leaves mostly THC in a solid matter like shatter or wax, the use of terpenes as a solvent for these extracts will serve two purposes: the liquefaction of the extract and the addition of terpenes into the extract, making the taste of the THC e-liquid more closely resemble the dry herb.

As these products are all purchased online, these are what we really care about and are weighted according to their importance. This review will be based off the following metrics.

    2. Is it smooth?
    3. Does it replicate the flavor or strain profile that it is based on?
