Denver Terpenes

Denver Terpenes (34 / 60)

Website: (2/5)I wasn’t really a fan about the layout and design of the website. It appeared as if I were on one of those internet websites that are not accessible through common browsers. I had a little difficulty trying to figure out what the difference between the full spectrum and the strain specific blends as the full spectrum does have strains associated with them. I was able to put the products in my cart easily and complete the checkout.

Customer Service: (10/10)

I called them to ask the difference between the different categories on their website and they were happy to spend the time and explain it to me gracefully. It was a pleasure to talk with them and can say that they are receptive to customer inquiries.

Shipping: (4/10)

I placed my order on a Wednesday morning and received it the next Thursday. It took 7 business days to arrive to me. I am not sure whether they ship every day as they did not ship it within 2 business days. If you need the product it is best to call them before ordering as they may be able to give you a better timeframe of when you’ll be receiving it.

Ease of use: (2/10)

Going into this review, I have already prepared all the tools I would need in the event that the products I would be ordering does not supply accessories to make it easy to mix. Denver Terpenes does not supply a kit or accessories that allow you to just provide your own wax and mix away. For instance, in order to take the liquid out of their vial, I used one of the luer lock syringes I had purchased from Amazon for the purpose of filling the cartridges. I had to use my own mini shot glass as a mixing container. I could not find any mixing directions upon receiving the package so I used the double boiler method. Having done this process before this was easy. The rating of 5 is due to the fact that none of the accessories that would make this easy to mix was available to purchase on their website.

Taste and Experience (16/25)

Gorilla Glue –  My first impression of this smell was that it had a very musky smell by itself. When mixed with the wax it was very subtle. It vaped very smooth, but I must say the taste was not similar to the Gorilla Glue strain. The effects made me feel more lethargic which was very reminiscent of an indica strain. Since Gorilla Glue is a sativa dominant hybrid, the effects did not seem to go with the strain as well.

Blue Dream – The aroma of this Blue Dream did smell similar to the actual strain. It mixed just as easily as the Gorilla Glue and it vaped very similarly, being smooth. The taste left a bitter aftertaste so I was not that fond of that. The effects made me feel more creative compared to when I started and thus it did feel like a sativa strain.
